Simply excellent care from start to finish. Mr Shah really listened when I was explaining my symptoms, was very approachable and answered all my questions. This is really important as being injured and needing surgery for the first time is an anxious time. He provided really clear and understandable information about my injury and explanations of the surgery I required. His assistant was also very friendly and helpful for booking appointments and liaising with the hospital etc. Mr Shah performed my surgery at the London Clinic which was very successful and I have made a speedy recovery. In my follow up appointments he took time to take me through how the procedure went in detail. Other healthcare professionals such as my GP and physiotherapist were very impressed with my recovery and the minimal scarring.

It is a year now since I had my left hip replacement surgery, performed by Dr. Shah and have just had my yearly follow up appointment with him. He was very understanding and patient during my initial consultation when I told him how the quality of my life was diminished because of the constant pain. Despite feeling very apprehensive about the procedure, he explained everything and I felt re-assured by him and had total confidence in him. I'm happy to say I have been completely pain free for the last year! He was right - It has been life changing, and I'm very grateful to him.

I have had two total knee replacements with Mr Shah and have felt at all times that I was in the care of a professional surgeon who was absolutely doing what was best for me. I felt he engaged with me as a patient and was invested in the best outcomes for me. I have recently just a a total hip replacement & Mr Shah was my surgeon & consultant. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for me. When I went for my first consultation he made me feel at ease, listened to me and then gave me all the information I needed explaining what the surgery would entail. My stay at Guys was fantastic the staff were absolutely brilliant. Mr Shah came to see me after my operation to assure me that everything had gone to plan. I have just returned from my 6 week follow up appointment and was seen by a colleague of Mr Shah’s, but he took the time out to pop in and see me and to again reassure me of all my fears. A truly fantastic surgeon and consultant, thank you.
